Internet Marketing Training

This is an overview of the actual steps that I go through every time I create a website from finding a niche, selecting and registering the domain to setting up the hosting. I then will show you how to create and monetize your site using Wordpress as a foundation.

Preliminary Activities

1. The first thing you should do is to open a checking account with a linked debit card to use for your online activities. This will allow you to keep everything separate from your personal account (it does not have to be a business account a separate personal account will work just fine). A Paypal account can serve some of the functions that you need but you really should establish a new checking account to avoid possible inflow and outflow delays later on.

The following steps can be completed as you go but, if you want to get a jump on them and avoid delays waiting for accounts to be verified etc. you can set most of them up before you get started!

2. Set up Namecheap and Hostgator accounts. If you are not going to use Wordpress and want to create your own sites from scratch or even in addition to using Wordpress, you might also want to set up an account with 1&1 for both registration and hosting of non Wordpress websites. I do it both ways!

3. Set up a free Paypal Premier account (if you don't already have one). Establish free accounts with Google Adsense, Clickbank, Chitika, Commission Junction, EzineArticles, Articlesbase and Goarticles.

4. At this point you really need a password managing program. I use Roboform which is free for the first 10 passwords. (If you add more than 10 passwords you will eventually have to remove all but 10 or purchase the Pro version.) I could not live without this program!

4. Purchase (subscribe) to KeywordCountry which is by far the best keyword research tool. Purchase Rapid Rewriter to get you started with article spinning (creating multiple unique versions) and article submission. I will have a lot more to say about the importance ofarticle spinning later but it is very important to get this powerful tool!

5.Set up a free account at Stock.xchng which is a great source for free images for your site.

This should be enough preliminary work to allow you to smoothly get started setting up your first money making website. The busy work is done now the the fun part begins!
